Apple Cinnamon Peanut Butter Protein Pizza!
Pizza for Dessert!?
I mean come on, who doesn’t love pizza? Ohh and who could possibly not love dessert pizza!?
You know you’ve gone to Cicis’ pizza and had like 10 slices of their dessert pizzas! Well maybe you haven’t but I definitely have! Remember no judging!
So I decided to make my own spin on a dessert pizza that has the best macros in the world!
Let’s Begin!
That Apple Cinnamon Pizza at Cici’s wasn’t too bad right!? Wrong 🙂
Macros of 1 slice Cici’s apple cinnamon pizza:
- For 1 Slice: 1/8th the pizza
- Calories: 130 calories
- 3g fat
- 23g carbs
- 2g protein
Now lets compare my pizza:
- For 1 slice: 1/8th the pizza
- 40 Calories
- 1g fat
- 5.5g carbs
- 4g protein
Since no one only eats 1 slice of pizza…….
Macros for whole Cici’s pizza apple cinnamon pizza:
- 1,040 calories
- 24g fat
- 184g carbs
- 16g protein
Macros for my whole Apple Cinnamon Peanut Butter Protein Pizza:
- 320 cals
- 8g fat
- 44g carbs
- 33g protein
And the winner is!? Ummm do I even have to waste my energy typing it!?
No you can have 3 whole pizzas for the price of 1 and get in a ton of protein!
And now to how to make this bad boy!
Ingredients:
- 1 Medium Sized Red Apple
- 24g PB2 Powdered Peanut Butter
- 1/2 scoop Phase 8 Vanilla Protein Powder
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 whole Joseph’s lavash bread (buy these at Super Wal-Mart. Amazon is super expensive)
- Stevia to taste
Directions:
- Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit
- Cut Lavash in half. (this pic has 3 halves because I was really hungry) 🙂
- Once pre heated, put lavash bread in oven to toast for about 8 minutes until golden around the edges.
- Then while lavash bread is toasting, you will prepare you toppings
- For icing: Put PB2, vanilla protein powder and ground cinnamon together in a bowl. Then add a little bit of water and mix until you get the consistency of icing.
- Then cut up your apple into small pieces.
- Then remove your lavash bread once toasted and then let sit for about 1-2 minutes
- Top with the icing and then place apples evenly across the lavash.
- Sprinkle a bit more ground cinnamon and stevia over the top and throw back in the oven for about 4-6 minutes
- And BOOM! You have an amazing Apple Cinnamon Peanut Butter Protein Pizza!
